Client satisfaction and our reputation are top priorities. So, in the unlikely event after our consultation and the photo session something just doesn’t look right to you…no problem. We’ll fix it or do it again. Remember…it’s all about you and we want you to be more than happy – ecstatic is more like it.

We’ll never be the lowest price around, competitive yes, lowest no. Check out our competition, you’ll find we’re the best value. Why? Because it’s all about you, or did we already say that?

The Senior Portrait Experience:

We have two distinct objectives the first of which is to deliver a high quality product at a reasonable price. The second, of equal importance, is to make this a fun experience for our clients. If it's not your demeanor will be so reflected making it difficult for us to not only meet but exceed your expectations:

Senior Portraits...your appearance:

It’s important you wear something you feel comfortable in since we’re trying to capture the essence of “you”. Keep in mind some shots will be close up, some may be full length so plan accordingly. You have the option of unlimited wardrobe changes so you probably want to go from casual to traditional to a little more dressy. Don’t be afraid to test your limits of creativity…but let’s keep it in good taste.

Suggestions on what to wear
• Avoid stripes, plaid, and patterns. Solids photograph much better.

• Bring a variety of colors. Basic primary colors like red and blue, along with maroon work great.
• Avoid clothing that has wording on it except for your school logo.
• Vary the style, one look gets boring.
• Vary the dress level, bring casual, medium and dressy.
• Plan outfits completely, including footwear.

Jewelry
Keep in simple, the attention should be on you.

Hair
Avoid changing your hairstyle or cutting your hair right before your session. Let it be natural. Quick easy hairstyle changes during your session are OK, but make it quick or you loose camera time. Artificially bleached hair is often not best, in 10 years you might say "What was I thinking??" Bring your hair care tools and products with you if need be.

Props
It’s OK to bring props that help define who you are. Some popular choices are: Sports equipment (soccer ball, football, basketball, baseball, whatever), sports uniforms, music instruments (from school tuba to rock guitar), activities (dance leotard and shoes, swimming, hobbies, you name it!).

Glasses
Most glasses glare! Some prescriptions more than others. Check with your optometrist. Most will "loan" you an empty set of frames similar to yours for your photo session.

Tips for Girls:

Clothing Styles
Make sure your clothing flatters you. Baggy clothes might make you look larger than you are. If you think you have large arms, be careful of sleeveless styles, they can make your arms look fuller.

Wild to mild
We won't tell you what you can and can not wear. A little sexy is OK, but don't make ALL of your outfits that way. As long as your parentユs approve, we don't care. But remember your yearbook probably has a dress code.

Undergarments

Be careful of situations such as flowered underwear with white pants. Or a white bra and a black sleeveless shirt. Please wear appropriate foundation attire for each outfit. Flesh colored is the best. Also, if you need a strapless bra, bring one. Tucking the straps down usually shows and looks bad with regular clothes. With today's thin fabrics, carefully select these pieces so you can't see unsightly lines.

Finger and toe nails

Nails show!! If they have the paint all chipped off, it will show. Many casual shots are done barefoot, so don't forget about those toes!
Avoid real bright colors. Natural or basic work best. We don't want to draw attention to your neon orange toe nails. And they may look really bad with your next outfit!

Makeup
Makeup should only be slightly heavier than normal. About like you might wear in the evening. Mascara should be clean and contain no clumps. So if your mascara is old and clumpy, replace it first.

Tips For Emphasizing Cleavage
Lean forward, bring arms together at the waist, clasp hands together below the waist, keeping arms straight at the elbows, cross arms.

Tips for Minimizing Cleavage
Lean backward, slouch, keep arms apart, raise arms above shoulders or above head.

Tip for Guys:

Clothing
If mom gets a shot she likes then she'll much cooler on letting you get what you want so go with the flow.

Shoes
Bring the right shoes for your outfits. Docs or sandals photograph much better than big, bright tennis shoes. By the way…make sure your shoes are shined/cleaned!

T-shirts (if you wear them)
Bring a dark t-shirt to wear under dark shirts. A white t-shirt triangle under a dark shirt sticks out like a sore thumb. so bring a black or gray. The white t-shirt is for wearing under light shirts and your tux shirt.

Logos
Avoid large, bold brand names or words on clothing (with the possible exception of your school logo) they’re a major distraction and why be a lifetime billboard for a product or company that probably won’t be around in a few years.

Shaving

Please make sure you are clean shaven. Retouching stubble costs extra and is still does not look as good as a clean shave.

Hair
Be careful of changes right before your session. Current “statement” styles might be cool today but usually they’re short lived. Bleached hair does not look as good in photographs. It is a short trend and you may find it looking real silly once the trend is gone.
